Your MobiFone eSIM Local includes both high-speed data and a Vietnamese phone number for calls and SMS (plan-dependent).

Activation time
Your plan activates immediately after installation, so install it just before departure or upon arrival in Vietnam.
30-day activation
Activate your eSIM within 30 days of purchase. After this window, the QR code will expire and cannot be reused.
One-time scan

Do I need a passport to buy the MobiFone/Local eSIM?
It is not necessary to show your passport when buying eSIMs at vietnamesim.com.
When does my MobiFone eSIM Local start?
Your data plan will start as soon as you install it on your phone. It is recommended for you to scan and activate your eSIM right before your departure date so you will be connected after landing.
When you install your eSIM, the number of the days will start to count down. If you are not in the country that the eSIM covers, you cannot access the data and will not lose any data in the plan.
When should I install my eSIM?
Install the evening before departure or on arrival in Vietnam with free Wi-Fi.
How to activate eSIM MobiFone/Local?
Install the eSIM with the QR code sent to your email. In the mobile settings, select it as the default mobile data, turn on data roaming and mobile data. Then, your eSIM will work. Read more in our eSIM installation guide.
Can I share data or tether with the eSIM via Hotspot?
Yes, MobiFone/Local eSIM plans include hotspot feature for sharing data with other devices.
How will I receive my MobiFone eSIM?
After you place your order, we will send an email with your eSIM information, including QR code, confirmation code and activation guide within 3-10 minutes. Just scan the QR code and follow the user guide.
Can I reinstall my eSIM if I delete it?
Our MobiFone eSIM Local is a one-time-use eSIM. After being activated, it will be ready for you to use until the expired date or when daily data runs out. If you remove eSIM from your phone, you will not be able to use it once again.
What if I need technical support during my Vietnam stay?
We provide 24/7 customer support via WhatsApp (+1 657-571-1199) and email to promptly resolve any connectivity issues throughout your Vietnam journey.
Can I make phone calls or send messages with MobiFone Daily 3GB 10 days eSIM for Vietnam?
Yes. However, please add credit with a MobiFone top-up card. After that, you can make calls both MobiFone or other networks.

Can I make phone calls or send messages with MobiFone Daily 3GB 15 days eSIM for Vietnam?
Yes. You have 30 free minutes to make on-net calls. However, if you want to make calls to other networks, please add credit with a MobiFone top-up card.

What if I delete my eSIM from my phone?
This eSIM QR code can be installed once only. So, please do not delete/remove your esim in any case, but contact our support center (email [email protected] or Whatsapp +1 657-571-1199) for support.
Can I keep my physical SIM active?
Yes. Set your primary SIM for calls/SMS, and the eSIM for mobile data only.
Can I use internet after daily data is used up?
No, when your daily limit is reached, you cannot use data.
