Yes. You can use this type of esim for iPad, but the plan activation is different. Please dial *087*1111# when you are in Vietnam to activate it.
Yes. For your convenience, you are recommended to do so. You should also install the eSIM on your device before departure as its installation requires your phone’s wifi connection. And then, when you reach Vietnam, dial *087*1111# to activate the plan and access to the internet.
Currently no. Incoming calls and SMS are free. Outgoing calls and SMS are not allowed. You can also use WhatsApp or Skype through the use of your data plan.
Please be informed that the eSIM QR code can be scanned and installed once only. In case you have any issue adding it to your phone or using its data, please DO NOT REMOVE/DELETE it but contact us for support.
You data plan starts at the moment you successfully text KH MAY79K to 8968 to activate the plan, not from the moment you install your eSIM by scanning the QR code on your phone.
As such, you can buy it and get it ready on your phone before departure, and get connected right after landing in Vietnam.
But please remember that the waiting time is 30 days only, i.e you must activate the esim plan within 30 days of purchase, so you should not by the eSIM more than 30 days before departure.
Yes. When you need to extend your eSIM plan, please let us know.
Set up your eSIM before your departure for the most convenience. Once you reach Vietnam, just activate the data plan and turn on data roaming.
Normally, the hotspot will be automatically enabled. But in case it does not work, please set up your eSIM APN as follows:
- For iOS devices: Go to Settings > Cellular/Mobile data > your eSIM > Cellular Data Network, and then enter all APNs as m9-itelecom.
- For Samsung Phones: Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Access Point Name > Tab Add on top bar > Name it > APN as m9-itelecom
- For Google Pixel Phones: Go to Settings > Network & internet > SIMs > select your eSIM > Access Point Names > Tab + on top bar > Name it > APN as m9-itelecom
